The Startup Europe Week is an initiative supported by the European Commission and involves more than 200 events related to the startup and entrepreneurship world. It will take place from 1st to 5th February in many European cities.
This week has different goals such as showcasing best initiatives promoted by regions to support entrepreneurs, informing the local ecosystem about what already exists to help them now, providing live consulting sessions on how to open a company or apply for a grant, sharing among regional officers what other regions in Europe are doing and what can be leveraged locally and connecting regional officers, investors and corporates to create stronger local ecosystems.
Commission Vice-president Andrus Ansip (who is also leading the Digital Single Market project) and President of the European Committee of the Regions Markku Markkula will participate in the launch event.
The European Association of Perfume and Cosmetic Products (APCE) supports the entrepreneurship in the perfumery and cosmetics industry. Its members have generated many jobs and it has become a way of scape for many people unemployed.
